Continued Republican War Against Reasonable Health Care

Continued Republican War Against Reasonable Health Care

The Republican controlled Congress continues to fret about how to accomplish the President’s campaign promise to repeal and replace Obamacare without blowing up current available care. This week witnessed another attempt to wiggle out of promises not to destroy essential services to moderate taxpayers while satisfying conservatives to save hugely on entitlement costs.  It appears they hope to wear down opposition and pass something that meets their original goals but that doesn’t seem reasonably possible. They weren’t willing to invoke a government shutdown or rather don’t trust #45 on this issue. They enjoyed watching Trump blame the Democrats rather than becoming the cause of blame themselves.
